Wheat germ oil has been historically used to treat eczema, psoriasis, and stretch marks. It’s rich in protein, minerals, lecithin, vitamins A, D, and E. Rose flower water, or hydrosol, is produced as a by-product of the steam distillation process used to obtain the Damascena rose essential oil. Its origin is the famous Valley of the Roses in Bulgaria, where the roses are hand-harvested at the perfect time of year. This delicate floral water has been used as a soothing aid for centuries.

Crithmum maritimum, a sturdy variety of sea fennel, has a dramatic soothing and cooling effect when topically applied. Pinus pinaster shields the skin from damage caused by everyday environmental oxidative stresses. Saccharomyces cerivisiae extract may play a role in improving skin lipid integrity and development, and increases cellular-oxygen consumption. Hexapeptide-11 shows a significant impact on collagen and elastin. It improves skin firmness, reduces the appearance of fine lines, and promotes maintenance of the skin’s lipid layer. Combined with Rhodiola rosea root extract, it reduces the appearance of puffiness and strengthens and firms the skin, as well as improves microcirculation, thereby enhancing other beneficial ingredients.
